OffTheHook Foundation For Rural Dwellers equally promotes empowerment at all levels, geared towards empowering the youths, men and women especially the young widows in the rural areas with the view to eradicating extreme poverty. The empowerment assumes the following; trainings, vocational and skills acquisition and disbursement of seed money to venture into a business.

The Foundation is seriously advocating that all and sundry especially the rural dwellers in addition to the above must embrace agriculture as a way of empowering themselves and breaking free from poverty. We are however encouraging the rural dwellers by providing fertilizers and extension services to help boast their yields. We equally assist them to have access to small loans from Micro-Finance Banks and other financial bodies to expand their capacity and finally help them create the marketing outlet to sell their products.

The Foundation has secured a vast Land in-view of all her activities targeted at growing these categories of young men and women to build a world class Ultramodern ICT Youth Centre that will be a hub to promote entrepreneurship and skill acquisition. Here the young and energetic come and learn trades and business models thereby learning how to fish as against being given fish to give them a better chance of success in life. The objective is to Open up the rural areas and halt the youths in the rural from urban drift that is on the increase with all its attendant consequences on rural development.
