The Mbaise Cultural Carnival geared towards bringing all and sundry especially Igbos of the Mbaise extraction together in a fun filled atmosphere to fraternise has become the rallying point for fostering our traditions and culture.
It has become the largest gathering of men, women and youths to celebrate our rich cultural heritage.
That our indigenous language is going into extinction at an alarming rate cannot be over emphasised. As Custodians of Culture, it has become pertinent that we do all we can to rescue, revive and resuscitate it.
The Mbaise cultural carnival therefore serves as a tool for traditional and cultural revival.
In a nut shell; it is a podium through which our culture and tradition can be show-cased for the world to see and appreciate.
