Hadiza Santali Sa’eed was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2002 sequel to graduating from the University of Jos, Plateau State in 2000, where she received an LL.B (Hons.) Degree. She went back to the University of Jos, Plateau State and obtained an LL. M (Hons.) in 2008 and subsequently received a MA (Distinction) in International Law, Security and Terrorism from the University of Nottingham UK in 2014.

Before her appointment as the Deputy Director/HOD, Performance and Evaluation/Legal Department at the National Judicial Council, Abuja in 2017, she served at the National Judicial Institute (NJI) for over 12 years and disengaged as an Assistant Director at the Continuing Judicial Education (Studies) Department.

She also served (on Secondment) as Senior Special Assistant to two Chief Justices of Nigeria between 2011-2012 and 2014-2016 where she contributed to the development and implementation of the each Chief Justice’s reform agenda for the Nigerian Judiciary.

Ms. Sa’eed has written several published and unpublished papers in the areas of Judicial Ethics, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Internet Law, Maritime Law, Gender Issues, Environmental Law, as well as Court and Case Management. Mrs. Sa’eed was also a contributor to the Judicial Ethics Training Manual and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Manual for the Nigerian Judiciary, of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, 2007, and the Commentary on the Bangalore Principles in 2007. She also participated in the drafting of the Nigerian Code of Conduct for Court Employees, which came into effect in March 2003.

She continues to play an active role in the activities of the Judicial Information Technology Policy Committee (JITPCO) from its inauguration in 2012 till date and is the Chairperson of the E-Services Committee of the National Judicial Council and serves on several other Committees.

Hadiza Santali Sa’eed, hails from Karshi Development Area, Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Abuja, FCT and is blessed with children.
